Please no more injuries!

Well yes, it happened again, and I bet you can guess who it happened to. That's right, Cayden!

This time it was a head wound, I had a couple boys here that I was watching and one of them was playing catch with the dog, and my dog has a huge stick that he carries like a baseball bat, and he threw it and yup you guessed it, Cayden happened to be right where it landed.

The little one that threw the stick came into the house and said, "Ummm Cathy, I threw Deek's stick and it accidentaly hit Cayden and he is bleeding," so at this point I had no idea it hit him in the head and I was thinking it was just like a scratch, or something small.

Well I open the door to madness, Cayden it standing on the porch and the blood is honestly pouring out of his head, it was the worst thing I have ever seen! I am glad to say at this point I did not panic, but grabbed his hand and took him to the bathroom and grabbed the towel (luckily the towel is already red, but I didnt think about that at that moment) and got it wet and pushed on his head as hard as I could for a couple minutes.

At this point I had no idea where or how big the head wound was, I was just trying to get the bleeding to stop. And the whole time Cayden is being so brave, he is a great kid and I couldnt believe how good he was with this, he was crying but he let me do what I needed to it.

After a couple minutes of praying for no more gushing of blood, I took off the towel, and to my reflief no gush, but a huge mess, blood was everywhere all over his hair, on his shirt and his hands were covered in red, I couldnt believe it. And now the search is on for the wound, as I fish threw all the blood covered hair, I notice it and it was a pretty good gash.

But good thing, it closed up really fast and good and I had it looked at and no stiches, I was told he could probably use 1 stich but it was already closed and healing, so no need at the time.

I am so proud of Cayden, he let me wash his hair and the gash, and let me clean it with alcohol, and everything. He is a trooper this kid.

But I dont think the sick feeling and nightmares of blood and my kids will go away for a while.

All that blood for this little tiny cut!

Gotta love it!

l Pictures, Images and Photos

So yes I went Thursday night and stood in line and waited for the big opening of Twilight. And people, I gotta say that I really liked the movie, their were parts that I thought were a little off of what I was imagining, and yes sometimes it got a bit corny, but I really loved the way they did this movie, and for it being a very low budget movie I think it was really good. Of course the movie will never be as good as the book, so you have to go into a movie, like this, expecting to be a little disappointed.
Again, I liked it and thought it was a good movie, and I can't wait to get another fix of Twilight mania when New Moon comes out! And yes I will probably be waiting in line at that one too.

Halloween 2008

Sorry it has taken so long to post my halloween pic's but I just got the cute ones that we had taken at this fun little Tooele Mommies thing.
Halloween was fun up until the day of halloween for me, I got so sick that I missed the whole thing and poor Coop was going to go trick or treating for the first time this year but Stu couldnt take all three on the 4-wheeler so Coop stayed here with me and we watched Elmo. Coop was so concerned about his mommie being so sick that he seriously would not leave my side. He is so cute.

Skyler and Cayden had a blast they went trick or treating on the 4-wheeler and got a ton of candy!

My wonderful husband and best friends ever, threw me a surprise birthday party on Saturday. It was a blast and I am so greatful to have such great friends!
The story is kind of funny because that day Stu was acting a little different and was stressing about every little thing in the house. So I was kind of wondering if something was up but he just kept telling me that we were going out to dinner and a movie, (when the whole time he new we were coming home after dinner). So at 5:00 we left for dinner at Chilli's, and it was sooooo yummy, and then he said I dont know if I can go to a movie Cath I just am not feeling good! hee hee, I was really wondering at this point. Then we pull up and there wernt any cars, so I was like oh ok, I must have had it all wrong then I noticed that most the lights were off in my house!
Then as we walk through the door, SURPRISE, all my friends where there and there was good food, and yummy drinks. It was so much fun and thank thank thank you to everyone involved in making me feel so super special!

I AM SO PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!

obama Pictures, Images and Photos

Whether you are Democrat or Republican, we made our voices heard yesterday and we have recieved a huge change. I voted yesterday and took Skyler and Cayden with me and they were so excited to see how voting works and to see mom be a part of it all. They have been learning all about it in school and would come home everyday talking about it.

Last night watching history be made was heart felt and a I am so glad that I got to see it and my children did to. I am excited to see how Obama will change things and what will come, I am proud to be an American and be living in a time when we have the first African American President. We as America have come so far, from the days of slavery and segregation and it is our time for our generation and future generations to say that we will not live with that past any longer and we are America! United under one nation under god!
